Pigs & Peaches BBQ Festival fills Downtown Kennesaw and the United Bankshares Amphitheater at Depot Park for its 26th year on Friday, October 16, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Saturday, October 17, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Friday opens with Kennesaw's Got Country, a community talent showcase, while Saturday brings a BBQ Competition Tasting Experience from noon to 3:00 PM plus country headliners Tigirlily Gold at 6:00 PM and Chayce Beckham at 8:00 PM. An expanded Kids Zone runs Friday 6:00 to 10:00 PM and Saturday 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a petting zoo and Kids Market beside dozens of vendors and barbecue teams. Operators along Main Street and near Depot Park catch peak smoke-and-music demand Saturday afternoon tasting and again after the amphitheater sets before the 10:00 PM close.
